In the Name of Allah The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, The Lord (The One and Only) of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad, the Truthful and the Faithful.
Dear noble brothers, as I remember, this story is about two men who traveled to a European country, and one of them told me the story. He said, "It is well-known in Eastern Europe that prostitutes voluntarily knock on doors at night hunting for men. I did not open the door for them, but my colleague did". Obviously, his friend committed adultery, but this person did not, because he fears Allah.
Glory be to Allah, the business of the one who feared Allah the Almighty was not that good, but few years later, it flourished. Unlike him, the other person's business was once better than him, but he had to sell his store, and he became jobless.
Bilal Al-Habashi was a black slave owned by Umayyah bin Khalaf who tortured him for believing in Muhammad (PBUH). One day, Abu Baker came to buy him at the price Umayyah asked for, but Umayyah said, "By Allah, I would have sold him to you for one dirham. Abu Baker said, "By Allah, I would have paid 100.000 dirham for him if you had asked."
Abu Baker took Bilal with him and put his arm under his armpit as a gesture to Umayyah that he became his brother in Islam. Since that time on, whenever the gracious Companions mentioned Abu Baker, they would say, "He is our Master who emancipated our Master (Bilal). Furthermore, Umar bin Al-Khattab, the giant of Islam, may Allah be pleased with him, used to go to receive Bilal when he came to Madinah. This is (the real) Islam; Bilal was a black slave, also Suhaib was Rumi, but when both embraced Islam and got to know Allah, their fame raised high.
Regarding the story of the two business men who travelled abroad, Allah the Almighty brings forth punishment and respites. Sometimes He respites a punishment for profound wisdom, thus if man is given respite, then this is due to very profound wisdom, and if punishment is brought forth upon him, then it is by virtue of Allah the Almighty.
